Start with scent and how you will use it
For a body massage at home, begin with two simple questions: would you like a noticeable scent, and are there any ingredients you want to choose or avoid? A massage oil helps your hands move smoothly over the skin. The amount you use, the area you massage and the length of your routine all affect how it feels.
There is no single dose for every situation. A few drops may be enough to begin with on the hands or forearms, while a larger area may need more. Add the oil gradually rather than pouring out a generous amount before you know what is useful. This also makes it easier to judge the texture.

Understand what fragrance-free means
Our Neutre massage oil has no added fragrance or essential oils. Its ingredients include sunflower, sweet almond and apricot kernel oils, together with calendula macerate. Fragrance-free does not necessarily mean completely odourless: the raw ingredients can have a scent of their own. “Neutre” describes the formula rather than promising no detectable smell.
Deep Relax includes sweet orange, geranium and vetiver essential oils. Choosing between the two therefore involves both your scent preference and the ingredients you are comfortable using. A product name does not tell you everything about its directions or precautions.

| Your preference | Option to explore | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| No added fragrance | Neutre | The full formula, including sweet almond oil |
| An aromatic scent | Deep Relax | Essential oils and product-specific precautions |
| A practical bottle | 120 mL formats | Closure and storage for your routine |
Read the ingredients even if you have previously used another oil from the collection. Our ingredient-list article, available in French introduces INCI names. Organic certification does not make different formulas interchangeable, and it does not guarantee that a particular oil will suit everyone.
Apply a little at a time
Dispense a small amount into clean hands, spread it between your palms and massage gently over clean, intact skin. Add more only when you need extra glide. Keep a cloth nearby to protect surrounding surfaces and avoid leaving oil on the floor, where it can make the surface slippery.
Close the bottle after use and follow its storage instructions. Do not add essential oils to a ready-made massage blend: this changes the formula and the conditions under which it is intended to be used. You do not need to customise the blend to make it part of a simple routine.
Follow the directions for your chosen oil
This guide covers external cosmetic use on the body. Avoid the eyes and mucous membranes, and stop if the product causes discomfort. Check each formula's directions for any restrictions relating to age or personal circumstances. Explore the massage oil collection and make your choice using the complete product information rather than its name alone.
